Eric Twiggs, Vice President of Member Services at AutoShop Answers

The AutoShop Answers family is growing. We are proud to welcome Eric Twiggs as our new Vice President of Member Services, a role centered on listening to members, strengthening their experience, and building practical ways for automotive professionals to connect, learn, and grow.

A leader focused on the member experience

Eric joins AutoShop Answers with a clear mandate: understand what members need now, anticipate the challenges independent repair shops will face next, and help turn those needs into useful resources, education, and programs.

That work starts with listening. AutoShop Answers was built around operators learning from operators, and member services should carry the same discipline. The strongest programs begin with the real questions shop owners and their teams are already trying to solve.

Eric's starting point

Listen to our members, understand what they need, and build practical programs that deliver real value.

What Eric will help build

As Vice President of Member Services, Eric will focus on the full member experience—not one class, one event, or one conversation. His work will help AutoShop Answers develop new initiatives while improving the ways members find resources, build relationships, and apply what they learn.

  • Strengthen the experience members have before, during, and after AutoShop Answers programs.
  • Develop practical initiatives that respond to the changing needs of automotive service professionals.
  • Create more opportunities for members to connect with peers and learn from working operators.
  • Help turn member feedback into resources and programs that shops can use in the real world.

Why this matters to independent shop owners

Running an independent repair shop is becoming more complex. Owners are balancing customer expectations, team development, recruiting, technology, financial discipline, and the daily responsibility of keeping cars and people moving. They do not need more noise. They need relevant support, honest conversations, and a community that understands the work.

Eric's role reinforces our commitment to that kind of support. Member services is where listening becomes action: a better connection, a useful program, a clearer resource, or a new way for owners to learn from one another.

A welcome from the AutoShop Answers family

Todd Hayes described Eric as bringing experience, energy, and a genuine passion for the automotive industry. Just as important, Eric understands the pressures shop owners and industry professionals are facing and sees the opportunity to build programs around those realities.

We are excited about what Eric will bring to our members, our team, and the broader automotive community. His appointment is another step in AutoShop Answers' continued investment in education, industry connection, and practical support for the people building better repair businesses.

Welcome, Eric

We are glad you are here, and we look forward to building the next chapter of AutoShop Answers together.
